To celebrate the new year, Studio b is hosting a photo forum of camera phone shots! Yes, camera phone shots! No need for high-tech cameras, you can be “Joe the plumber” or an ace photographer and enter!
There are only two rules:
Rule#1: It must be shot from a camera phone.
Rule #2: It must be shot after the clock strikes midnight on January 1st, 2009 to the following midnight (so it’s your first day of 2009). Make it a resolution you can keep!
Just email your images to email@example.com by January 2nd. You will be included in an online gallery of all the images from all around the globe!
It’s time to get creative! Start 2009 with a click! Spread the word! Pass it on! Tell all of your friends! All ages and phones are welcome! Be sure to include your name, age, where you’re from, type of phone, and caption. All images will be online soon at www.studiobthebeach.com.
…Just back from another amazing day on the water! We had perfect weather for our Paddleboard costume parade around Destin Harbor. We visited the Destin Fishing Rodeo crowd watching the weigh ins and then took a trip under the East Pass bridge. As we approached Crab Island, we were treated to a pod of dolphins playing in the glow of the sunset. And, like all that was not enough, a squadron of old war birds put on an aerial acrobatic show just over our heads. Those who stuck around for dinner were treated to a fireworks show from the Destin jetty! Amazing, this is quite a paradise we have the good fortune to live in. Happy Halloween everybody! Enjoy this short video of some of the Surf Spooktacular event:
Join us at the Harborwalk in Destin for a creepy good time! On Thursday October 30th, one hour before sunset, adventurous souls will be stand up paddling along the harbor front in full costume. After spooking the fishing fleet, we’ll enjoy the haunted house and other festivities with friends and family!
